On the national scene, the logistical warehouse market a stable vacancy rate in the third quarter, compared to the preceding period. The registered average was 20%. As for average asking price, there was 500x316a drop of 1.4% between the quarters (from R$ 22.4 to R$ 20.8).

Reflecting the economic downturn, the industrial market demonstrated low absorption in the third quarter. The states of Pernambuco (-22,000 m²) and Rio Grande do Sul (-7,000 m²) contributed to this outcome. However, the Southeast region partially offset this figure with positive absorption of 52,000 m².  The São Paulo region showed the highest net absorption in the period, driven by the Eastern Metropolitan Region (11,000 m²), Inland (9,000 m²) and Capital (7,000 m²).

“The low volume of new deliveries in the third quarter reflects the current economic scenario. The market is more cautious regarding new investments, even postponing already approved projects. This scenario is likely to continue during coming months,” affirms Mario Sérgio Gurgueira, director of Owner Representation.
