The region around Faria Lima Avenue has reached the highest price for rental of Class A office buildings in São Paulo. The average rated square meter was estimated in R$ 157, a 2.1% drop against the price proposed in the previous year, that was R$ 161. As for the average price in the municipality of São Paulo, which includes the main office buildings, these numbers totaled R$ 114.3 against R$ 117.5 in the previous year.

“While the average price rate in São Paulo dropped 2.7%, Faria Lima’s dropped just 2.1%. That reflects the potential of this area, which concentrates new and modern buildings, besides the fact it is a highly valued and desired region by companies which intend to open or expand their business”, states Raquel Miralles, General Manager of Corporate Leasing at Cushman & Wakefield.
