Net absorption for A-class buildings in São Paulo has totaled 145,000 square meters in 2014, maintaining the same level as the previous year, despite the economic downturn. In the first quarter of 2015, the total absorbed reached 40,000 m², exceeding the average of 36,000 m² of 2014. “Deliveries of new high standard buildings have promoted to establish this new “flight-to-quality‘ trend within São Paulo market, besides providing several tenants with the consolidation of their offices, formerly scattered, in a single building”, states Raquel Miralles, General Manager of Owners Representation at Cushman & Wakefield.
