Green Building Berrini 500 The Berrini 500 Building, head office of Cushman & Wakefield in São Paulo, is taking part of the LEED EB:O&M Certification process – for regular buildings, and will take several measures expected to impact positively on reduction of operations costs, water consumption, internal environment quality and also environmental restoration. The C&W Green Building area is leading the project with Partage, the company that owns the building. The key points for implementation for the certificate are:

  • Replacement of all sanitary ware of the building with more efficient ones;
  • Replacement of vegetation of the landscape architecture with native species with lower demand of water;
  • Installation of a rainwater collection system intended for landscape architecture and outside washing;
  • Balancing of the whole ventilation system in order to improve the flow rate and enhance the quality of internal environment.

This project is expected to be concluded next March, 2015 and the certification in July, 2015.
